Difficult people on teams and in organizations can result in endless
cycles of conflict, lost productivity, people shutting down, not to
mention excessive emotional strain on everyone involved. If harnessed
properly, there is a power in conflict situations to transform and deepen
relationships, increasing feelings of team, trust and inclusion.
Conflict-free organizations are unrealistic, but it is possible to nurture
skills that allow us to be conflict-effective.
