In this talk, General Stanley McChrystal, discusses the change traditional leaders may have to experience or are experiencing with regards to “the inversion of experience” as a result of the technological age. He walks you through his life and how he’s had to adapt his styles of leadership with effectively fulfill his role as an exceptional leader in the military. Two poignant quotes from this talk: “Leaders can let you fail and yet not let you be a failure.” and “A leader isn’t good because they are right, they’re good because they are willing to learn and to trust…it takes time and effort and is not always fair -you get hurt and scarred, but those you count on will help you out and the people that count on you, need you on your feet.”
