You are invited to attend The Business Acceleration Lecture Series, presented by Deloitte Consulting. Join us for a unique opportunity to gain valuable business insight directly from senior consulting practitioners, and network with other members of the Deloitte community!

The series is comprised of three consecutive sessions. Registration for the series implies attendance for all three sessions.

Analyzing Complex Problems
Although data analysis is not always considered a strategic priority, failing to derive key business insights from data can result in lost revenue, lost confidence, compliance problems, competitive pressures, customer dissatisfaction and more. In the face of these challenges, and the complexity of real world problems, effective solution analysis is essential. Consultants gain market insight and drive business strategy by continuously exploring and investigating past business performance and anticipate change. Deloitte consultants leveraging deep industry knowledge, extensively use of data, statistical and quantitative analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling and fact-based management to drive integrated decision-making.

Project Management
All organizations use projects as the way to translate strategies into actions and objectives into realities. In order to help clients manage their projects in the most effective and efficient manner, consultants help with:

  • Detailed planning and monitoring of time and resources consumption, based on experience and deep knowledge of best practices.
  • Coordination of stakeholders towards the achievement of a single goal.
  • Communication of project progress plans and facts across the various organizational levels and engagement of the right people, at the right moment.
  • Thorough identification of risk factors, provision of a plan for recovering from risks and effective guidance through crisis situations.

Change Management
Most leaders understand that change – from introducing new systems, technologies or business models to creating new organizations from mergers or acquisitions – is critical to survival. Change management is the “enabler” to successfully guide the transition from the “old world” to the “new”; a structured approach to facilitate the journey. Leading change is a complex multi-facetted undertaking that can be influenced by numerous variables not always identifiable prior. Consultants are excellent catalysts for structuring and driving change, especially because they are not directly involved in the change process. Being outside the “system”, consultants have another point of view and can “frame” the change process in a different way to directly involved stakeholders. Consultants are therefore perfectly positioned to identify unforeseen problems and suggest unexpected solutions.

Deloitte consultants help organizations to plan, grow and structure their businesses. They work hand-in-hand with clients to improve business performance, drive shareholder value and create competitive advantage. Deloitte consultants have deep industry expertise, having served more than one-third of the companies in the Fortune® 500, and hundreds of middle-market clients around the world.
